Physiotherapy

The physiotherapy team at London Orthopaedic Specialists is one of the UK’s leading physio centres; offering a comprehensive range of services. The department is staffed by chartered physiotherapists and has a cross section of specialist skills and interests amongst its physiotherapists.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapy department provides a comprehensive service to hospital inpatients, as well as providing a wide range of outpatient treatments. You do not always need to be referred by your doctor to access our services, although we do prefer to communicate with them in managing your treatment.

Our Physiotherapy Staff

The department is staffed by chartered physiotherapists and has a cross section of specialist skills and interests amongst its physiotherapists.

We don’t believe that one physiotherapist can treat all complaints. Therefore, in addition to our musculo-skeletal team, we have specialists in Respiratory, Women’s Physiotherapy, Neuro-rehab, Hand and Paediatrics.

We aim to work as a team with other medical professionals to ensure that an integrated and comprehensive approach to care is achieved.

We also have access to Occupational Therapy services. In addition the department has close links with several national sporting organisations.

Facilities

The department is fully equipped with a rehabilitation gymnasium, neuro assessment room, occupational therapy and a home living assessment room.
